Coaches vs Cancer Tip-Off Classic

On Saturday, December 4th and Sunday, December 5th the Western Athletic Conference is sponsoring a Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser at Fulton-Montgomery Community College. This is the 8th consecutive year we have held this event (minus last year due to the pandemic) and we are looking forward to a record number of high schools participating.  During the past two full seasons alone, we have raised over $8,000 for the American Cancer Society.

This year’s two day event will feature 11 Boys Varsity High School Basketball games (and 1 JV game).  The following schools are scheduled to participate: Schalmont, Loudonville Christian, Galway, Bishop Maginn, Madrid-Waddington, Richfield Springs, Canajoharie, Northville, Sharon Springs, Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville, Edmeston, Middleburgh, Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons, Wells, Salem, Mayfield, Fonda-Fultonville, and Fort Plain.

We will also be holding a raffle during the event for various items donated by the community.  All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Cancer Society. If you have any questions, please contact John Karbowski, Northville Central School, Athletic Director/Boys Varsity Basketball Coach
