Here&#8217;s the link to the\u00a0current\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.section2basketball.com\/index.php\/power-rankings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">section2basketball.com computer rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Below are the links to the Boys rankings, Girls rankings and game projection link. The game projection link allows you to pick 1 team (boys or girls) and gives you a projected outcome of a game, with final score, versus every other team in the section based on the current information.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.section2basketball.com\/index.php\/component\/ffact\/?ids=193&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boys rankings<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.section2basketball.com\/index.php\/component\/ffact\/?ids=194&amp;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Girls rankings<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.section2basketball.com\/index.php?option=com_projections\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Game projections<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The rankings take each game result into account and they factor recent results a bit higher. They are also meant to project an outcome of a game if 2 teams played today. The rankings are only as good as the information I have in the database. If I don&#8217;t have all of a team&#8217;s scores, versus other Section 2 teams, the ranking may be slightly skewed for that team. Help us and report your scores to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@section2basketball.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">info@section2basketball.com<\/a>\u00a0or tag us on twitter\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/section2hoop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@section2hoop<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Class AA Boys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Shenendehowa, Troy, CBA, La Salle and\u00a0Saratoga are currently the top 5. However\u00a07 teams are within\u00a05\u00a0points (2 possessions!!) of each other. It&#8217;s the most competitive class among the top teams (boys or girls) in Section 2. Stay tuned as each week the teams get scrambled, in the rankings, as they continue to beat one another.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Class AA Girls<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Shenendehowa,\u00a0Saratoga and\u00a0Colonie are the top 3 right now. Shaker, Catholic Central, Bethlehem and Albany are all\u00a0good teams as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Class A Boys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Mohonasen,\u00a0Lansingburgh and\u00a0Amsterdam are the teams to beat. Queesnbury, Gloversville and Averill Park\u00a0are the next group of teams right below them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Class A Girls<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Averill Park Warriors\u00a0are the top team and won the their last 2 games over Class AA teams, Shaker and Colonie, both by double digits.\u00a0Holy Names, Amsterdam, and Scotia are in the next\u00a0tier below the Warriors. Gloversville and Queesnbury continue to play\u00a0solid basketball.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Class B Boys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">No changes from last week as Mekeel Christian, Glens Falls,\u00a0and Watervliet are currently the top 3. Hudson, Catskill and Schalmont can beat anyone on any given night. Schuylerville, Cobleskill and\u00a0Bishop Gibbons are also dangerous in this classification.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Class B Girls<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Tamarac remains the top team in the classification but was upset on their home floor by a tough Voorheesville team. Glens Falls, Mechanicville, Voorheesvile and Watervliet round out the top 5.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">****NOTE in previous blog posts I had Mechanicville listed as a Class C team. They moved to Class B this year. My apologies for the confusion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Class C Boys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Lake George is still the top rated team in Class C but was pushed hard by #2 Hoosick Falls this past week.\u00a0Hoosick Falls, Middleburgh, Granville, Duanesburg, and\u00a0Saratoga Catholic round out the top 6 rated teams.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Class C Girls<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Cambridge and Mekeel Christian are\u00a0clearly the top 2 teams in Class C. Below them are 10 teams\u00a0grouped together that will look for top 3-4 seeds in this class when sectionals arrive. It will be interesting to see which teams continue to develop in the 2nd half of the season. It&#8217;s wide open below the top 2.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Class D Boys<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Argyle. Oppenheim-Ephratah\/St Johnsville, and Whitehall are the top 3 teams. Fort Ann, Germantown, Northville and North Warren\u00a0continue to fight for the #4 seed in Class D.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Class D Girls<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The top 5 teams right now are Argyle, Fort Edward, Fort Ann, Heatly and Hartford.
